Here are the steps involved in ordering an album:

  1. Select your photos for the album. It's best if you create two folders: "favorites" and "optional." 
  2. Choose the type of album you want from our album collections.
  3. Fill out the order form on our site. Once the order has been submitted, you will receive an email with a link to upload your photos online. 
  4. Make sure you have the high resolution photos and NOT proofs. 

 

  • Once the order has been submitted and the photos have been uploaded, it will take us about two weeks to design the album. 
  • Once the album has been designed, we will email you private link to review your album online.
  • You can send us  your feedback, submit changes and requests. 
  • Our designers will work on those changes until you're completely satisfied. Please read below for changes to your album.
  • Once the design has been approved by you, we will start the production of the album. Production timeframe depends on the album you chose. Most albums are done within 2-3 weeks.

 

CHANGES TO YOUR ALBUM

Large and Small 

We are happy to do basic changes at no additional charge. Major changes will be charged accordingly. Since each album is unique, we don’t have strict rules. We recognize that changes do arise and we are happy to work with you. Here is some very general information about basic and major changes.

What’s a basic change?

As a general rule, minor changes are edits that don’t require a page or pages to be redesigned.

Changes to how a particular photo looks are usually basic changes. For example, resizing the photo, removing the background, adding a background, even deleting a photo and replacing it with another. Changes to wording, changing of the font and font size are also usually basic changes.

What’s a major change?

Major changes, for the most part, include redesigning a pages or pages. Sometimes a redesign can be as much work and expense—perhaps even more—than an initial design.

When a page or group of pages have photos added or other major changes to the page, it amounts to a redesign of the page and perhaps the pages surrounding it. This is especially so if the group of pages is telling one part of the wedding day story and those pages need to stay together to maintain continuity. This would be a major change. Deleting a photo so that it causes a blank space and the page needs to be rearranged, would also usually be a major change.

Choosing how your album will look and avoiding costly changes

To avoid costly changes, we recommended that you take your time looking over the samples. What feels right? Does it represent the way you felt at your wedding? Will it be a true representation of you and your wedding day to future generations?

Another tip. It makes a difference which photos you choose. Chose the quality ones. There isn’t a great deal that can be done to make a poor photo better, to bring it up to the quality of the good photos. A bad photo will only look worse when placed next to a good one.
